Juicing in January for the sake of your health

Happy New Year 2017!  Juicing in January, the annual tradition of vowing to lose weight this year.  Well, that plan usually lasts about a month.  But it is worth the effort after all the sugary treats devoured over the recent holidays.

I’m lucky to have a street market every Saturday a few doors down from my home. Everything is fresh and all local produce is organic.

The Nutribullet and juice extractor are plugged in and ready to go.

Vegetables:

Onions, broccoli, lettuce, cabbage, cauliflower, tomatoes, yams, beets, mushrooms, potatoes, carrots, avocados, green beans, zucchini, potatoes, cucumbers, bell pepper, ginger and garlic.

Fruit:

Bananas, cantaloupe, pineapple, papaya, oranges, watermelon, grapes, limes, grapefruit, apples, pears, kiwi and guava.

Did I forget anything?  Lugging all this home was a sight to be seen.

Now to step on the scale …
