A “Clean Pizza Dough” with 2 ingredients ready in 2 minutes

Are you “eating clean” in 2017?  I found this clean pizza dough recipe that only needs flour and Greek yogurt.

I had to play around with the cooking time and temperature since I was using a countertop convection oven.  It gets hot but I’m not convinced it is as high as the dial suggests.  One of these days I’ll hunt down a thermometer to measure it or just keep increasing cooking times.

I included red pepper flakes into the crust to keep them from falling off.  Next attempt may be parmesan cheese.  Or garlic powder.

If you don’t have self-rising flour,  you can make your own by adding 1-1/2 teaspoons of baking power to all-purpose flour.

2 Ingredient Pizza Dough

Clean Pizza Dough

Prep Time: 5 minutes


  • 1 cup Self-Rising Flour
  • ½ cup Greek Yogurt
  • Pinch of salt


  1. Mix flour, salt and yogurt together to form a smooth dough.
  2. Roll out on a floured surface. This amount will make 1 medium sized pizza.
  3. Add your favourite toppings and bake for 10 min at 180 degree Celsius or 350 degree Fahrenheit.


I am using a countertop convection oven and, liking a crisper crust, I upped the temperature to 400F and baked for 25 minutes.

Sure beats messing with yeast when you want a quick snack.

Now I’m wondering if the yogurt needs to be Greek which is creamier than regular.  I buy the crazy huge bucket at Costco.  I’ll try straining with cheesecloth and test that next.  It would be a cost saver for sure.
